Abstract

This paper examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is installed in virtual leadership and Human Resource (HR) operations in dispersed work forces. With the growing trend of remote and hybrid work, AI tools are assuming critical importance in maximizing the value HR offers in terms of recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness. By means of a mixed-methods research that incorporates both qualitative interviews of HR leaders and quantitative surveys among remote workers, the study analyzes how AI influences customer satisfaction, trust in management, and collaboration. As the results indicate, AI-based tools, particularly those devoted to employee engagement and performance tracking, have a dramatic positive impact on job satisfaction, communication, and team cohesion, as well as a positive effect on the hiring process speed and recruitment accuracy. But also the work raises ethical issues, especially the aspects of privacy, algorithm prejudice, and dehumanization of the leadership. The study draws the conclusion that AI tools are transformative but they cannot substitute and have to supplement human leadership to preserve the trust, communication, and ethical conduct in virtual teams.
