Abstract

The Human-Organization-Technology Fit (HOTFit) Model has been widely used in evaluating the success of information system (IS) implementation and adoption across various sectors. This research aims to systematically review ten scientific journal articles that utilized the HOT-Fit model in diverse contexts, such as hospitals, government, industry, and education. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this article identifies trends, gaps, and contributions of the HOT-Fit model in supporting the evaluation and decisionmaking related to information systems. The analysis results indicate that “human” and “organizational” factors often serve as key determinants of IS success. This research also recommends integrating HOT-Fit with other evaluation methods to enhance the accuracy of evaluation results.
