USCCS: Structure, Principles of Operation and Application Within the Framework of Digital Transformation

The purpose of this study is to describe the development of the Unified System of Classification and Coding in Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan (USCCS). The system is considered as a tool to ensure information compatibility and data integration at all stages of the life cycle of construction projects. The basis for the creation of the system was ISO international standards and national regulations. The research methodology includes the analysis of existing classification systems and the design of the ESCCS structure. In the process of development an automated platform was created to provide centralized data management. The results demonstrated that the USCS improves data accuracy, promotes process unification and optimizes interaction between participants of the construction process
