Abstract

At present, cars have become a normal means of transportation for people to travel, and the quality of tires will directly affect the safe driving of cars and the safety of drivers. This study focuses on the demand for surface quality inspection of automotive tires. Based on the principles of machine vision technology, a digital modeling of a tire defect detection system was completed using 3D modeling software. At the same time, images of some test tires are collected by using the industrial camera in the inspection system. The obtained image information is imported into the software Halcon through the data connection between the CCD and the PC, and the original tire images are preprocessed, thresholded and morphologically processed by Halcon, so as to finally locate the tire surface defects and extract the features, and then determine.
