The research of car license plate location methods based on image processing

The paper focuses on the license plate region location technology, and introduced the use of associated particle image velocimetry PIV(Particle Image Velocimeter) algorithm, which brings forward a license plate character strokes using both the edge of the largest value of cross-correlation method of license plate location algorithm.
