Inorganic P was estimated colorimetrically; acid-hydrolysable P was found by subtracting the inorganic P from the P present after 180 min of hydrolysis, and phosphopyruvic acid was estimated by the NaHSO3 method after liberation of the P group by boiling in N HCI for 60 min.
