The development of a framework for route selection in multimodal transportation

A six-phase framework to select an optimal multimodal transportation route that includes an integrated quantitative risk assessment, analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and data envelopment analysis methodology to evaluate the multi-modal transportation risk is proposed.
