Tau Immunoreactivity Detected in Human Plasma, But No Obvious Increase in Dementia

It is concluded that measurements of tau in plasma cannot be utilized diagnostically for Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, vascular dementia or for the other dementias investigated.
