Abstract
Conventional tracking solutions frequently depend on extra IoT components, such as GPS and GSM modules, which raises implementation costs and creates maintenance issues. This project intends to create a real-time, software-based car tracking system using the Google Maps API and Firebase Real-time Database in order to get around these restrictions. This system uses the GPS embedded into the mobile device to collect coordinates, which are then sent to a Firebase database housed in the cloud for real-time updates. The data is immediately synchronized and shown on a web interface that is connected with Google Maps for live visualization. Without the need for extra hardware, this cloud-based design guarantees effective data transfer, minimal latency, and platform independence. educational, and personal applications. The study comes to the conclusion that integrating Firebase with Google Maps offers a dependable, scalable, and affordable solution for contemporary vehicle tracking and monitoring.
