Sita neglected in the Ramayana

This article represents a picture of female character Sita, the wife of Rama, the hero of the epic Ramayana. We have tried to explain the social system, coronation ceremony, the bondage between husband and wife, between the brothers. A chaste woman like Sita, her patience, regards for the husband, through neglected by him is also noteworthy. The kingly ideal towards the subjects of the state all these described in this article remind us of an advanced stage of royal life in ancient time. The king always engaged himself for the welfare and benefit of the subjects and gave up his own necessities for the sake of the subjects.
