Self-supervised learning unveils morphological clusters behind lung cancer types and prognosis

Phenotype Representation Learning (PRL), a methodology to extract histomorphological phenotypes through self-supervised learning and community detection, is presented, providing a simple, interpretable and versatile method that can correlate histomorphic patterns with different clinical annotations, without the need of retraining for different prediction purposes.
