Review of extended producer responsibility: A case study approach

An exploratory review of 27 cases of extended producer responsibility from developed and developing economies with and without informal recycling reveals that financial responsibility of the producers and separate collecting and recycling agencies contributed significantly to the success of the extended producer Responsibility-based environmental policies.
