Research status and progress of image processing technology for plantar pressure detection products

With the intensification of aging in our country, people's emphasis on health is constantly increasing. As a health monitoring product, plantar pressure monitoring products have been widely used in medical, sports rehabilitation, robot research and development, and other fields. In the image processing of plantar pressure detection products, computer technology runs through the entire process of image acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, and image segmentation. This article introduces the characteristics of the human foot and pressure distribution, reviews the research status and progress of image processing for plantar pressure detection products at home and abroad, introduces the types of plantar pressure image processing technologies, points out the shortcomings of current plantar pressure image processing technologies in China, and proposes future prospects.
