Abstract
After integrating new elements such as renewable energy generation and high-power electric vehicle charging piles, the distribution network area presents hidden dangers such as insufficient carrying capacity, reduced power supply reliability, and deteriorated power quality. To address these issues, a distribution area energy storage measurement and control system based on the distribution Internet of Things (IoT) is proposed. This system, with a local controller as its core, integrates modules such as Power Conditioning System (PCS), Battery Management System (BMS), Substation Transformer System (STS), temperature control, and fire protection. It can also be connected to an intelligent fusion terminal or directly to the main station. This system employs cloud-edge collaborative optimization operation technology. Through comprehensive monitoring and collaborative control of the operation data of the distribution network area, it optimizes the performance of the energy storage system in terms of off-grid power supply, overload management, and voltage limit management. Finally, by building an energy storage performance testing platform in a dedicated laboratory, experiments verify the adjustment capability of the energy storage measurement and control system for grid operation parameters. The cloud-edge collaborative communication data link is tested and established, and the pilot application of the scheme is completed at the project pilot site.
