Research on Classification of Hypertension Patients Based on Pulse Wave

Because of clinical needs and technical opportunities, cuff-less blood pressure measurement has become a hot topic. However, so far there are few methods has been widely accepted. In recent years, the demand for portable devices to measure blood pressure has become higher and higher. Among them, photoplethysmography (PPG) is a feasible method to estimate blood pressure by measuring fingertip pulse. Based on the pulse wave data, this manuscript mainly explores the feasibility of using different neural networks to distinguish whether the user is a hypertensive patient, and selects the most suitable neural network model.
