Research of current postgraduate nursing training courses in ICU: a systematic review.

The study found that consumers of critical care value physical care and so-cio-emotional support equally in care provided by nurses, and shows that registered nurses are commencing their ICU experience with limited knowledge of invasive MV therefore the education provided within the ICU workplace becomes fundamental to safe and effective practice.
