Recognition of Offline Handwritten Isolated Urdu Character

An approach for recognition of offline handwritten isolated Urdu character based on Invariant Moments and segmentation free approach will be followed where the ligature as a whole is used instead of segmenting it into smaller units because character segmentation is consider one of the very difficult task in Urdu.
