Quantifying Local Extrinsic Curvature in Neural Manifolds

This work leverages tools from Riemannian geometry and topologically-aware deep generative models to introduce a novel approach for studying the geometry of neural manifolds that computes an explicit parameterization of the manifolds and estimates their local extrinsic curvature.
