Abstract
As the global energy transition accelerates, energy storage technologies are becoming increasingly important in power systems. Compressed air energy storage (CAES), as a clean, efficient, and large-scale energy storage technology, has broad application prospects. This paper analyzes the application potential of CAES in power grid regulation and explores its effects in different scenarios, while summarizing the role and significance of large-scale CAES applications for power grids.
