TLDR
It is found that some primers commonly used in double-stranded dideoxy sequencing on plasmid DNA, such as T3 (ATT-AACCCTCACTAAAG) and T7 (AATACGACTCACTATAG), are not suited to fluorescent sequencing probably because of their low annealing efficiency.
