TLDR

The log-transformed concentrations of PAHs and OPAHs in muscles, guts+gills were significantly correlated with their octanol-water partitioning coefficients, strongly suggesting that equilibrium partitioning from water/sediment into fish tissue was the main mechanism of bioaccumulation.
