PERSIAN PRINTED DOCUMENT ANALYSIS AND PAGE SEGMENTATION

A hybrid method, low-resolution and high-resolution, for Persian page segmentation, where each region is segmented to homogeneous regions and identifying them as texts, images, and tables/drawings is presented.
