People's visually disability education: motivation, expectations and benefits

Abstract
People with visualy disability very often face the risk of social exclusion or experience exclusion, as their access to a range of rights is extremely limited. In recent decades in order to reduce social and educational inequalities specific opportunities have been given to this category of people. The purpose of this research is to examination the motivations, expectations and benefits that people with visual disabilities derive from their study at Vocational Training Institutes of Special Education. For the implementation of the purpose of the research, the sampling method was used utilizing the questionnaire as a data collection tool. 51 people with visual impairment participated in our research. Our findings show that the motivations, expectations and benefits from their study at the Vocational Training Institutes of Special Education involve professional / work, personal and social implications.
