Optimal Transmission-Sensing-Reception Strategies for Full-duplex Dynamic Spectrum Access

This paper exploits recent advances in full-duplex (FD) communic ations and self-interference suppression (SIS) to improve the performance of an opportunistic spectrum access (OSA) system and proposes an adaptive strategy that results in about 50% reduction in the collision probability and twice the throughput of the half-duple x case.
