Abstract
Since the 1980s, quantitative analysis has been applied to the study of domestic literature and has since flourished. In the era of big data, traditional quantitative analysis methods in literary research have taken on new forms, integrating with advanced computer and digital technologies to evolve into more precise, detailed, and comprehensive quantitative analysis methods. Therefore, this study focuses on the application of quantitative analysis and its evolved forms as a digital humanities criticism method in the study of ancient Chinese literature. It uses relevant literature as typical examples to illustrate the specific applications of this method, showcasing the new forms and features of traditional quantitative analysis in the big data era.
