Abstract
Statistics is a crucial skill for students, especially for data analysis in final projects like theses and dissertations. Despite being taught in class, many students struggle with statistical concepts. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Short Training Course on Data Processing and Research Analysis organized by BRIN in 2024. Using a mixed-methods approach with Explanatory Sequential Design, we collected quantitative data to identify variable relationships, followed by a theoretical review for deeper understanding. The study involved 20 participants, with data analyzed through descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, including Dummy Regression and Kruskal-Wallis Test. Results show that the training, though brief, significantly improved participants' learning outcomes and mastery of statistical concepts, despite challenges in sustainability. Data processing utilized SPSS 26.
