Kontekstualisasi Injil dalam Masyarakat Digital di Indonesia

This study aims to explain the effect of digital media utilisation in church services on the faith growth of the congregation at GPdI Disciples Tabernacle Community Bitung. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that digital media, such as live broadcasts of worship services, spiritual content on social media, and online communication groups, have a positive impact in reaching congregants who are not physically present and strengthening their spiritual engagement. However, challenges such as limited access to technology, lack of digital literacy, and potential misuse of digital media were also found. Therefore, churches need to develop digital media strategies that are purposeful, educative, and in line with Christian values to maximise the benefits and minimise the risks in their ministries.
