Abstract

This review article examines the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into constructivist pedagogy, exploring innovative strategies and their educational outcomes. As education increasingly embraces technology, the synthesis of AI and constructivist principles offers promising avenues for personalized learning experiences. This article synthesizes recent literature (2013-2024) to identify effective strategies for incorporating AI in constructivist settings, analyzes the impact on student engagement and learning outcomes, and discusses the challenges educators face in implementation. Findings indicate that AI can enhance collaborative learning, facilitate adaptive learning environments, and promote metacognitive skills. However, the integration of AI in education must be approached with caution, considering ethical implications and the need for professional development for educators. This article concludes with recommendations for future research and practice.
