Insights from Internet-Based Research: Realising a Qualitative Understanding from a Quantitative Search Process

This chapter relates the experiences of two researchers who conducted qualitative research using the web as a main data source and argues that in web-based research, the generation of research ideas and the collection of data are integrated and are interdependent activities.
