Infrared and visible image fusion via multi-scale multi-layer rolling guidance filter

The proposed multi-scale multi-layer rolling guidance filter (MSML_RGF)-based IR and VIS image fusion can well preserve the background and target information from both the source images visually and quantitatively without pseudo and blurred edges compared to the conventional methods.
