Abstract

The article Inclusive Education in Focus: Challenges and Paths to Practice examines the importance of promoting education that embraces diversity, identifying the main barriers to its implementation and suggesting strategies to overcome them. Inclusive education is understood as a process that ensures all students, regardless of their individual characteristics or conditions, have access to quality teaching within a participatory and welcoming environment. Among the most common challenges are the lack of continuous teacher training in inclusive practices, the scarcity of adapted material and technological resources, and inadequate school infrastructure—factors that hinder the full implementation of this model. The study highlights the role of assistive technologies in enhancing the learning and participation of students with disabilities and emphasizes the importance of strengthening partnerships among schools, families, and communities to build robust support networks. It concludes that achieving inclusive education requires sustained collective commitment, along with the transformation of pedagogical and cultural practices, so that all students can reach their full potential in truly inclusive school contexts.
