Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to significantly enhance Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) by addressing challenges such as data overload, integration difficulties, and reliability concerns. This white paper examines how AI can process vast clinical data, enable predictive analytics, and personalize treatment, thereby improving decision-making in healthcare. Through real-world case studies, the paper illustrates the successful implementation of AI in CDSS and discusses the ethical considerations, including bias and data privacy. Strategic recommendations are provided for healthcare providers to effectively integrate AI into their systems, aiming to revolutionize clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
