Hunting for emergences in stone-age settlement patterns with agent-based models

This chapter discusses the opportunities offered by complexity science approaches, and particularly agent-based modeling (ABM), for humanities scholars studying the past, based on explorative interdisciplinary research applied to the emergence of settlement patterns, as observed in archaeological material.
