High-Concurrency Data Service Model Based on MySQL, Redis, and MyCat

Abstract
A distributed data service model integrating MySQL, Redis Sentinel, and MyCat is proposed to tackle performance bottlenecks and availability issues in high-concurrency e-commerce systems. Existing standalone MySQL/Redis setups or partial component deployments often face single-node failures, limited horizontal scalability, and cache risks (e.g., penetration and overload). The model employs Redis Sentinel for automated master failover and read-write separation, MyCat sharding for horizontal data partitioning to reduce single-node load for large datasets, and time-based expiration with null-value caching to mitigate memory exhaustion and database stress from invalid queries. Tests show the architecture outperforms standalone solutions in throughput and fault tolerance, offering an open-source, scalable approach for critical high-concurrency services.
