Hackathons as an Informal Learning Platform

This paper investigates the informal learning aspects of Ohio State's annual hackathon events over the past two years, using a combined analysis of post-event surveys, student academic records and source-code commit log data from the event to share insights, demographics, statistics and anecdotes.
