Functional or psychogenic: What's the better name?

TLDR
The reason why the term psychogenic instead of functional is preferred is that it might imply normal function rather than dysfunction and contradicts the notion that the treating physician wants and should convey to the patient about the ‘cause' of the psychogenic disorder.
