Abstract

This project presents the development of an agricultural coordinating platform with advanced sensors like NPK sensors, pH sensors, temperature sensors, GPS and Internet of Things technology to reduce fertilizer usage by correct assessment of the available nutrients in soil and accurate recommendation of the type of fertilizer used, cropping pattern and crop planning. By incorporating real-time data from an NPK sensor into the IoT, which can ease mixed cropping for farmers and discover fertilizers they require exactly. Mapping the ground using drone, satellite, and GPS technologies is another factor the platform uses in automating agriculture- related tasks. The drones are used in spraying fertilizers, and bots remove weeds to ensure that the exact pH and nutrition balance in the soil is maintained. An approach like this will give increased yields of crops, lead to fertile soils, and ensure sustainable agricultural practices. These results imply that a platform of this nature is likely to significantly bring down fertilizer wastage and increase productivity in agriculture.
