Abstract
: The purpose of this study is to explore ways to expand the employment of lifelong educators who hold a license. Specifically, the study will review the placement criteria and the curriculum related to the certification of lifelong educators. In order to achieve the goal of expanding the employment of lifelong educators, the study proposes two main strategies. Firstly, it is urgent to expand the criteria for educating lifelong educators and to prepare laws that will penalize violators of the placement standards. Secondly, there is a need to revise the subjects related to lifelong education qualifications. For example, it is necessary to designate human resource development theory and vocational and career design as compulsory subjects, include digital literacy education in the practice area of elective subjects, and add recreation subjects to the method area of elective subjects. As a suggestion for future research, it is necessary to extract the competencies required for lifelong educators by lifelong education institutions and connect them with lifelong education subjects. In other words, it is necessary to extract the competencies necessary for lifelong education teachers by lifelong education institution (formal, semi-formal, non-formal) and connect them with lifelong education subjects. As the times change rapidly, the competencies required in each lifelong education institution may also change. By deriving these competencies, subjects should be selected with content that will nurture these competencies. I hope that there will be follow-up studies on the above.
