EPIC: An Architecture for Instruction-Level Parallel Processors

This report introduces the Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing (EPIC) style of architecture, which was developed, starting eleven years ago, to enable higher levels of instruction-level parallelism without unacceptable hardware complexity.
