Abstract
This experimental research aims to explore the effects of augmented reality (AR) on students’ understanding and comprehension in biotechnology. The concepts taken into consideration for this study are phagocytosis and binary fission. The study involves a pre-test to assess the initial knowledge of students, who are subsequently divided into two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The experimental group will be provided with content enhanced through AR technology, while the control group will not have access to this augmented platform. The research design involves the administration of a post-test to both groups, enabling the comparison of learning outcomes between students exposed to augmented reality and those who receive traditional instructional content. Data collected from the posttest will be analyzed using statistical methods. This research may guide educators and institutions in optimizing instructional strategies and technologies for more effective biotechnological education.
