Efficiency of electronic document management in a company and legal issues of its implementation

The need for fast document exchange remains one of the most important tasks of

business. In addition to the generally accepted "paper" approach, along with the development

of information technology, electronic document management (EDM) has emerged, and

along with it, electronic digital (ED). This tool is used by companies voluntarily, except in

cases where its use is dictated by law. We analyzed the process of implementing EDM using

our client as an example and considered the main aspects related to both the legal side of

EDM and the practical side of organizing the work of this method of document management.

Subsequently, we collected statistics that showed the obvious eff ectiveness of using electronic

document management and its viability in saving time and other resource costs.
