Abstract
This analysis looked through 60 papers between 2019 and 2024 and observed how artificial intelligence, particularly its machine learning and deep learning subfields, reshapes the Internet of Things for environmental monitoring and management. These techniques are revolutionizing, allowing real-time data collection and decision-making to tackle various ecological problems and process data. Among the things that can be pointed out as significant achievements in response to emergencies, such as recognizing forest fires, predicting earthquakes, and managing pollution, can be mentioned. For example, a project that aimed at real-time air quality monitoring showed how AI algorithms could be employed using real-time data to improve accuracy, therefore enhancing the possibility of successful interventions. In addition, the emerging water and waste disposal technologies are the most striking proofs of applying creative ideas to environmental stability. This work gives us the perspective on how artificial intelligence-driven Internet of Things innovations bring about a sustainable future and change environmental management with the best precision and scale. This updated document keeps your sources and theme alive and, at the same time, takes on a more natural tone that can better interact with the reader.
