DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE RUSSIA SECONDARY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: REGIONAL DIMENSION

The relevance and practical significance of integ­rating digital technologies and services into the educational process of vocational education and training (VET) organizations problems are determined by global trends in the eco­nomy and social sphere digitalization, priorities of the Russian Federation state policy and the changed demand for personnel in the country’s regions labor markets. The purpose of the publication to describe the state and trends of regional systems for training personnel with applied qualifications digitalization in 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of integrating digital technologies into the educational process of VET-organizations. The scientific novelty lies in identifying trends in the evolution of Russian regional VET-systems in the 2022–2024 observation interval in terms of integrating digital technologies into the educational process of VET-organizations. Ratings of the Russian Federation constituent entities were formed based on indicators of e-learning and remote educational technologies use in regional VET-systems. It has been established that the resources of VET-organizations digital educational environment are used in less than half of the programs for training workers and mid-level specialists. A high level of regions differentiation in terms of digitalization indicators of regional VET-systems has been revealed. The results of the study can be used by specialists of federal and regional education authorities, heads of VET-organizations to adjust strategies for the training systems for personnel with applied qualifications digitalization, as an important factor in improving the vocational education quality.
