Abstract
The existing tax payment system has a few technical problems, including incorrect taxpayer identification. This means that a system must be developed to address this issue. To prevent double payment, which did happen under the previous system, the proposed tax payment system will gather and maintain accurate records on the number of taxpayer management systems in the public service. The database management system approach was employed for this project, utilizing PHP and SQL in the system's development to create a database that houses and administers taxpayer records. The new technology ensures precise processing while reducing the reliance on manual techniques and time consumption. It then updates and gets tax payment records. The objectives the system seeks to fulfil are instant access, increased productivity through resource efficiency, database generation and records management, operational simplification, shortened processing times, user-friendliness, portability, and flexibility for future improvement. The findings of this study will be a valuable resource for tax policymakers and auditors alike, as well as for raising awareness of more vigorous techniques for the taxpayer management system in the civil service.
