Design and Implementation of a Bookstore Management Web Application: A Comprehensive Study

This paper presents a detailed design and

implementation of a comprehensive web-based

Bookstore Management System tailored for

academic institutions. The system addresses key

challenges including real-time inventory tracking,

automated order processing, customer

communication, and data analytics. Built with

modern web technologies—HTML, CSS,

JavaScript, Spring Boot, and MySQL—and

following Agile methodology, the application is

evaluated through extensive testing protocols.

Findings demonstrate significantly improved

operational efficiency, reduced manual errors, and

heightened user satisfaction. Future work

encompasses mobile-native applications, AI-driven

recommendation engines, blockchain-integrated

security, and multi-campus synchronization.
