Data management and signal processing for structural health monitoring of civil infrastructure systems

This chapter provides guidance in collecting useful sensor measurements, the basics of connecting SHM systems to the Internet are presented, the use of standard database systems to store and organize measurements are discussed, and methodologies for data archiving are presented.
