The article deals with the presentation of cultural life in selected West Silesian castles. His main aim is to highlight the cultural renown of these dominions and to look at them in terms of form and function. The study will focus on the castles in Rosswald, Gotschdorf, Geppersdorf, Groß Hoschütz, Johannesberg and in Grätz near Troppau in the period between the Baroque and the Enlightenment.
