Cost-Effective Resource Configurations for Executing Data-Intensive Workloads in Public Clouds

This paper presents a meta-modelling framework for building a Performance Model for large-scale cloud data processing, and some examples of how this model was implemented in the case of Amazon.com, show how the model changed over time.
