Composing on the Computer: A Study of Writing Habits on the Job.

The aim of the investigation was to get some idea of the variation to be found in how these writers use word processing to compose longer texts (four pages or more), and subjects noted advantages of word processing, such as the able to work on a text for short periods of time and the ability to compose text in a nonlinear fashion.
