Classical simulation of relativistic Zitterbewegung in photonic lattices.

This work presents the first experimental realization of an optical analog for relativistic quantum mechanics by simulating the Zitterbewegung (trembling motion) of a free Dirac electron in an optical superlattice with photonic setting.
